Draft "Primary Goals" are available for review.  The Primary Goals are intended to represent the main purposes of the land use plan.  Below is the latest version as revised by the committee on 11/20/08:

By way of background, the August 2007 Planning Survey was an important consideration in developing the primary goals.  About 900 Big Horn County landowners and voters provided their input through the survey.  A report of the survey results is available below.  The results include the complete tabulation of the survey responses, interpretation of results, and written comments from survey respondents:

In March, 2008, the consultants conducted a survey of the citizen committee to understand the committee members' views on land use and development issues.  The results of this process were also considered during the development of the draft Primary Goals.  The results of that survey are available below:
